Asanja Moru is a Luxury Bush camp & is located amid Rocky Islands known as the Moru Kopjes inside the Serengeti National Park which plays host to the most amazing wildlife spectacle in East Africa. Another pinnacle point of Moru is the Gong Rock Where one can view a Series of Masai Paintings and just to the east lies the Saline Lake Magadi, a Paradise for Flamingos.
The exclusive Asanja Moru camp provides you with an authentic luxury bush camping experience. Asanja Moru camp’s area is best known for its enormous herbivore migration led by over a million zebra and wildebeest, a vast voracious lawnmower which in turn provides sustenance for a glut of predators.
All Asanja Moru tents are Ensuite and are distinct and unique in their individual character, personalized and embellished in African style and culture.
Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (NBO), you will clear customs and collect your luggage and upon exit you will meet our guide who will transfer you to your hotel where you will recover from your jet lag and get some rest.
On Day 2 , around 07:30 hrs. – Your driver/guide will pick you up from your Nairobi residence.
We’ll head out in our 4 x 4 Jeep for the Ol Pejeta Sanctuary. We’ll be traveling through Laikipia County toward the Aberdare/Mt. Kenya area, passing numerous farms along the way.
We’ll stop at coffee and tea plantations for a closer look and time permitting a local market.
Our route takes us directly across the equator and we’ll take a moment to stop and enjoy this unique spot, straddling the hemispheres.
On Day 3, We’ll be up with the monkeys, the birds and whoever else we meet as the morning light spreads over the sanctuary.
Later, we’ll enjoy breakfast at our accommodation and then continue tracking big game and perhaps some unusual sightings like the packs of wild African dogs known to inhabit the reserve.
We’ll make plans for lunch and then a final game drive before heading back to our lodge.
Today after breakfast, we will depart to Lake Nakuru.
Spend the day in the park to enjoy the sight of pelicans bathing in the fresh water streams which terminate in Lake Nakuru. Since there is no existing drainage, Lake Nakuru is alkaline, the perfect place for flamingos to feed on the blue-green algae. The greater flamingo attains a height of about 4.26 feet its plumage is almost white with a pale pink, black tipped beak. It is the lesser flamingo that has the more exotic color.
About 2.72 ft. in height, with a rosy plumage and dark red, black tipped beak. Lake Nakuru National Park has a great variety of bird life which includes the Egyptian goose and a variety of ducks that come from Europe to winter. This park is truly a bird watchers paradise. The game animals include hippo, waterbuck, gazelles, Colobus monkeys, buffalo, leopard and the Rothschild giraffe. The park is also a sanctuary for the white rhino. This park has an abundance of acacia trees, both yellow barked (fever tree) the umbrella-topped acacia and the candelabra cactus. The park has three famous viewpoints from where you can get a picturesque aerial view Lake Nakuru landscape i.e. Lion Hill, Baboon cliff and Out of Africa Hills (Enasoit, Lion Hill ridge etc. Our naturalist driver guide will also take you through the 550 different plant species in the park including the unique and biggest euphorbia forest in Africa. As the sun sets, return back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Today we will travel to Masai Mara Game Reserve. Enjoy two full days game drive at Maasai Mara National Reserve. We continue explore the eco system of the Serengeti National Park on Kenya's side in Masai Mara where wildebeest migration will be crossing into. We look forward to a lot of surprises as this is a home to the big cats, elephants, rhinos, buffalos, wildebeests, zebras and many more without forgetting hundreds of bird species. We can split the days into two or go out for full day game drives.
Today after breakfast and a relaxed morning we will make our way to Nairobi where we will stop to break the long journey and unwind and enjoy Nairobi.
Today after breakfast we will make our way to Amboseli National Park. We have the next 2 days to explore this Gem of a park which has Mount Kilimanjaro as it's backdrop.
This morning you will make your way to Moshi on the slopes on Kilimanjaro where you will overnight. Today we look forward to meeting you and your family for a great dinner
Today we will drive to Kilimanjaro gate and then on to Morum barrier gate. We will spend a few hours at 3400 to explore the Shira region of the tallest free standing mountain in the world. Afterwards we will make our way to Serval wildlife where we will enjoy learning about conservation and interacting with animals.
Moshi - Ndutu
This morning you will travel via the Ngorongoro Crater rim and to the area called Ndutu. From the months of December to March, Ndutu is famous for the migration of Wildebeest and Zebra. These months are the calving season for the Wildebeest and the best time to see the cats in action. Ndutu is the one of the only parks that you can go off track and get closer to the animals in Tanzania. Enjoy the full day before heading to your lodge.

Ndutu - Serengeti National Park
This morning, you will drive to one of the most famous game parks in Africa, the Serengeti. Here is home to millions of wildebeest during the migration and over the huge flat plains you are likely to find lion, cheetah, leopard, hyena and many other small predators.

Serengeti - Ngorongoro Crater rim
An early morning start in the Serengeti to enjoy a few hours game drive before travelling to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area where you will overnight. The Ngorongoro caldera is the largest unflooded and unbroken caldera in the world. At approximately 20 kilometres across and 600 metres deep, the Ngorongoro Crater is a breath-taking natural wonder.
Ngorongoro Crater - Arusha - Zanzibar
This morning you will descend into the Ngorongoro Crater – a wonderful haven for wildlife. Ngorongoro is unique in that almost all the wildlife live within the crater walls hence you have the opportunity to find game easily. Rhino, in particular, can be seen regularly as well as prides of lion and other predators like cheetah. After a few hours game drive head to Arusha to catch your flight to Zanzibar.

Today you will be transferred to Zanzibar Airport in time for your flight back home.

If travel warnings or quarantine rules change in such a way that your trip is non-operable, we will offer you a postponement of your trip or a refund (Please take a look at Point 5 below regarding non-refundable charges).
There may be unavoidable charges to reschedule bookings depending on seasonality, i.e. moving a low-season booking to high-season may incur an additional charge. Any charges will be made clear at the time.
